We are pleased to announce that a French language file for SiteX 0.7.4 is now available from the Localizations page. Special thanks to Sébastien for his hard work with this.

French language will be added to the next build of SiteX in the next day or so. Existing 0.7.4 sites don't need to be upgraded, as this will just be a language roll-up.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we've added a bunch of new sites to our Hall of Fame, where you can check out some quality SiteX designs created by other SiteX users. Go find some inspiration!

We have now released the final stable version of SiteX 0.7.4 Beta.  Please visit our downloads page to get the new file.  We've added so many new features and improvements that it is hard to list them all.  Noteable new features include a site maintenance utility, more customization for the gallery, a sitemap, TinyMCE integration, and numerous security and bug fixes.  We hope that all users of SiteX will migrate to the new version as soon as possible.  Please check out our theme notes for upgrading to SiteX 0.7.4 Beta. A detailed list of changes for 0.7.4 can be found here.

The latest SiteX beta is now available to download - SiteX 0.7.4.1 Beta RC1.  Note that the SiteX site is now running 0.7.4 RC1!  This is a release candidate, and as such we are looking for people to test it.  The more testers we have, the quicker we will be able to release the stable version of 0.7.4.  Localizers: we're looking to release SiteX with several complete language files.  Please send us any that you come up with based on the RC.

This update is a files-only release, meaning no major database changes occur upon update.  However, there are significant theme changes.  If you have a custom theme, this will require exploring the new changes in both the CSS and the theme config file.
