SiteX NewsPosted by: BJ Sintay - 02/07/05 @ 5:57PM SiteX 0.6.3 Beta has been released! We're pleased to introduce the first version of SiteX to include a WYSIWYG editor as well as database table name prefixing. Many other upgrades were made in this version of SiteX and we recommend users making a backup of their site and database first, then performing an upgrade of the site software. The WYSIWYG editor integration will only work with IE for the time being. We plan to upgrade to include Mozilla based browsers in 0.6.4. Be sure to check out the forums and post your SiteX powered website for all to see. We want to see your great theme mods and/or tool mods. We're also beginning work on 0.6.4 which will include many more features (such as the expansion of user capabilities!). Visit our downloads page to get the latest version of SiteX now! SiteX 0.6.2 contains many critical security patches as well as new advanced features allowing even more design control over your site. We're working on a customization tutorial that will be online in our support section soon. Don't forget to stop by the forums and submit your mods or questions to the support team. Also, be sure to post a link to your SiteX enabled site. Enjoy! Posted by: BJ Sintay - 12/29/04 @ 2:14PM The latest version of SiteX (0.6.1) is now available on the downloads page. This advance in the SiteX core has come after several months worth of development to improve the user system, upgrade components, and add more options at your control. SiteX 0.5 Beta users must completely upgrade to the new version as we did not develop an upgrade package for this version. We will be releasing upgrade scripts in future updates. New features of SiteX 0.6 Beta include forums, a user manager, an advanced photo gallery with true color imaging, photo purchasing from Shutterfly, private pages/forums/albums, file management, upgrade checking, META tag management, and much more. Download SiteX 0.6 today! Posted by: BJ Sintay - 12/06/04 @ 11:10PM A fresh version of SiteX is in the works and slated for a first public release in January 2005. SiteX 0.6 Beta will include many updates and advances including user management, advanced page development, easy form creation, an expanded photo gallery, searching capabilities, a smarter installation sytem, and themes. If you have any suggestions for the next release, please leave them in the comment log. The final SiteX 0.5 Beta version has been released. Version 0.5.6 is the final revision.
Posted by: BJ Sintay - 10/04/04 @ 12:41AM A bug was discovered in the naming system for the title pictures. This bug affected uploading and deleting of the pictures. The new system bases the name off of a different derivation. This should fix your title problems. The current version is 0.5.5 beta. Extensive upgrades should be completed in 3 months. Also, if you have any submissions for the support page... it would be greatly appreciated. Keep enjoying SiteX!
